Clinton’s annual holiday send-off: the Winter Festival, every year Clinton has a multi-club celebration the week before Christmas Break for 9th and 10th-grade students at Clinton, giving them a chance to mingle and experience a little of what each club is about!
With end-of-unit projects, midterm exams, and late-work deadlines piling on top of each other in the days before break, an event where students can freely explore their interests, and be reminded of the enjoyable parts of being in a learning environment is beneficial to the school community.
The Winter Festival helps gain traction for clubs around the school and is also a way for students to relax and enjoy themselves at the end of the semester.
During the festival, clubs line the sides of the gym, each with their own unique activities in order to have fun and potentially gain interest for their club the next semester. This year a wide range of clubs participated such as ASU and Jewelry Club, all with various stands containing different snacks, crafts, and DIY activities.
Here are the specifics of the holiday fun!
